Trading Signals for EUR/USD on Wednesday, August 28 2013

Silver balls
Silver balls (Photo credit: play4smee)
I do not know if I will get time to write a big post today, so getting straight and minimalistic.

Firstly, as I had come up with signals yesterday, out of that only the Short entry for Gold triggered. Also, it ended up in a loss, yeah it hit the stop loss.

Today again I am optimistic on a lower trend for the EUR/USD and the way dollar is strengthening I am pretty sure that all my loss deals, as of now 6 will turn positive soon.

I only have time to stick my signals here, which are as follows:

Sell EUR/USD at 1.3401 for a profit of 50 pips.
Sell Gold at 1443.8 with a stop loss of 1448.8 and gain of 1428.8
Sell Silver at 26.501 with a stop loss of 27.001 and gain of 25.001
Buy Gold at 1403.6 with a stop loss of 1398.6 and gain of 1418.6
Buy Silver at 23.499 with a stop loss of 22.999 and gain of 24.999

I will update on my twitter in case any of my deal opens or closes.

Trading Signals for Wednesday, July 10 2013

Hi,

With a heavy heart I admit that my long entry at 1.2899 closed by hitting the stop loss at 1.2799. That makes a loss of 100 pips.

So as of now, my overall trading account is on a loss of 50 pips in this week.

The market went real low yesterday; the bears were on a active spree yesterday. This caused my long entry to close with a loss.

Do not know why the market is stuck at the low levels since so long. As I see the charts right now, since the 20th of June, the daily charts have been on a low. Now we are on the second week of July, and it is still stuck there.

Anyway, it is high time now that the market starts going upwards slowly. But when or how soon it is going to happen, that we need to wait and watch.

Currently, the market is moving side-ways; neither up nor down. That happens when the sellers and the buyers both are unsure as to what will happen next in the market.

Going by the Daily charts, market should move up anytime soon.

Also, when I see the news to be announced for the day, at 5 pm GMT, the FOMC meeting as well as the 10 year bond auctions will be announced. Both are high impact causing news. The effect of these could cause volatility and dynamism in the EUR/USD pair.

One should just wait and watch the upcoming moves in the market.

Now coming to the signals:

I have kept a by entry deal as a cover up for the existing at 1.2749 for a profit of 50 pips and a loss of 100.

Will post the outcome tomorrow, till then enjoy and have a good life!!

Trading Signals for Tuesday, June 25 2013

Hello,

Today I am posting late because I was waiting for my open trades to show some action, on the either sides.

And one of the open deals did show. So, I am here with the update.

It is sad because one of the deal, which I was scared of, did turn my scares into real and closed with the stop loss. I am talking of the deal that opened at 1.3199.

That made a 100 pip loss. Though I could have recovered 50 pips had my trade of 1.3099 levels had closed at 1.3151. But sadly the market turned back from 1.3150. That means I lost making 50 pips by just 1 pip mark.

Yeah, I know that is indeed sad.

So, now the summary is 100 pips loss for this week. If my 2 open deals at 1.3149 and 1.3099 close in profits, then my losses would be erased. Else, I will have to try really hard.

Hence, now I am exposed to a loss of 200 pips, or a profit of 100 pips.

Also, I got these few entry deals kept, which could trigger off if reached the desired levels:

Buy Eur/Usd at 1.3049, and Sell at 1.3201. Of course, both have a stop loss of 100 and a profit of 50 pips.

Will update tomorrow on my existing deals, or on the kept limit entry orders.

Good Night and a Happy day ahead !!!

Trading Signals for Monday, June 24 2013

Hello,

I have bent a little from my rule book today.

I have erased the stop loss from the deal at 1.3199 for some time. Else, it would have closed with a stop loss kept at 1.3099. I recall, when I had kept that entry order, I did get an intuition that the market could recede further down, but somehow I went wrong with that one.

So, I am in a little cautious mood to rectify my error. But I am doing this with a little caution too.

Considering the 4H charts, the market is bound to pull back a bit; but when does it start that way, I really do not know.

Hence, I have decided to wait till tonight, if by then I do not get a clear signal of the directions of the market, I would close this deal at whatever price (loss) I get.

So if that happens, it will bring the first loss of this week, and it will eat up 2/3 rds of profit earned from last week.

But nevertheless, there are other 2 orders also open, which could even out this loss; they are:

Buy orders at 1.3149 and 1.3099, both have a stop loss of 100 and a profit of 50 pips.

If these 2 deals end in profits, then this loss(if realised) would even out.

Also, I have kept another buy entry with the same profit and loss levels at 1.3049 levels.

And just rounding up the scenario since I started trading on the 17th of May:

my account is up by 500 pips since then.

Hope yours is too; Happy Trading till I update my posts till tomorrow.

Trading Signals for Wednesday, June 05 2013

Hi,

I am again happy to post that my sell entry at 1.3051 closed with a 50 pips profit yesterday.

So, since 17th of last month I have earned 250 pips cumulatively.

But I am also sad since the long entry at 1.2799 failed to close in profits by just 6 pips today!!

Had it closed at 1.3119, I would have gained a whooping 300 pips more.

Anyway, looking at the current scenario of the market right now, I am not able to make out which direction it is going to go now. So, I am currently on the wait and watch strategy.

However, my limit entries are still on, which are as follows:

Buy EUR/USD at 1.2949  and Sell at 1.3151. Both the deals have a take profit of 50 pips, and a stop loss of 150.

Also, the open entries are as follows:

Buy Eur/Usd at 1.2799 and 1.2849, whereas, sell at 1.3051

None of them have achieved the take profit levels that I am expecting, so all are still open.

Happy Trading and a Happy Day !!

Trading Signals for Thursday, May 23, 2013

Hi,

Looking at my open trading positions today, I can clearly see that I am up for a loss on either or both of my long positions.

Luckily, I had open an inverse Sell entry; with that half of my losses will be recovered, bringing my sum total of losses to a mere 50 pips.
Though the entire losses would have been erased had I taken a bigger take profit levels on my Sell position. Anyway, that does not come in my usual strategy of trading, so I did not go with it.

And now talking of the current facts, as of now my trades are saved. If the market goes low till 1.2749, then in that case I will only have 1 buy order; which is more likely considering the stochastic positions on the 4 Hr charts.

So, I will talk of the strategy at the time when my deals will close, right now I am happy that in a worst case scenario I am only in for a 50 pip loss from my principal equity amount, instead of a regualr 200 pip loss associated with 2 entry orders.

Happy trading !!!

Trading Signals for Wednesday, March 27, 2013

The market is on a strong pull down. The momentum of the downward pull caused my entry order to close on a stop loss of 50 pips.

Also, my long entry order opened at 1.2799.

Now waiting to see the flow of the market.

Aditi

There is a good news as well as a bad account. If you have been following my blog for quite some time, then you would know what has happened.

Yesterday, I opened a short entry for 50 pips, luckily it got closed in green, but on the other hand, my old long entry closed in green with a loss of 50 pips.

Hence, the profit and losses for the day got nullified.

Now I am all in for the existing long entry order which is as of now on a profit.

To be on the safer side, I also have the following entry orders put up as a limit:

Buy EUR/USD at 1.2799 for 300 pips, with a stop loss of 100 pips
Buy EUR/USD at 1.2749 for 300 pips, with a stop loss of 100 pips

Happy Trading and a happy life !!

Trading Signals for Friday, March 22, 2013

Today is the last trading day of the week. I did not post anything yesterday, since the open orders in my account did not see any change.

But today I am posting, because just few moments ago my account witnessed an activity that was worth posting.

The Eur/Usd pair reached a new high. It crossed the 1.3000 mark.

Therefore, I moved the stop loss on my first entry order to 1.2849. This will make my stop loss to a mere 50 pips.

Now, the stop loss for both of my entry orders is 50 pips each; hence the cumulative loss in a worst case scenario would amount to 100 pips. Though, the take profit amounting to both the orders will be 600 pips.

Aditi

Hi, It is the first day of the week, and my last opened entry order closed with a stop loss of 50 pips. The market took an unexpected turn downwards thereby adding to my losses. Though it was a good thing on my part to go with my theory of revolving stop loss.

Following my theory to the 'T', I had moved my stop loss by 50 pips, as my order had surpassed the 100 pip mark. Hence, my loss on the entry order was of 50 pips instead of 100 pips.

Also, another of my entry order opened at 1.2899, as always the stop loss is of 100 pips and take profit is of 300 pips.

Further, another entry order is kept as follows:

Long at 1.2849, with a stop loss of 100 pips, and take profit 300 pips.

Thanks and happy trading for the week.

Trading Signals for Tuesday, February 5, 2013

It is the second wait day for the open orders. Since, both the orders reached a certain threshold on the profits, therefore, the Stop Loss on each was moved ahead. The recent order is now on No Loss as stop loss and the other one is on Stop Loss of a mere 50 pips.

My strategy with the moving stop loss is simply moving the stop loss by 50 pips, the moment the order moves 100 pips. Since, with one of the open orders, the price moved 200 pips in the profit direction, so the Stop Loss with it became neutral (though it still carries the brokerage costs); while with the other it came down to 50 pips. It is because there was a difference of 50 pips between both the orders.

The market moved north today for the most part of the day, but now as we progress towards the US times, there seems to be a southward trend again.

As of now, I am still with the entry order which I mentioned in the trades for yesterday.

And for the current open trades, as explained above, in the worst case scenario, I would be incurring a loss of 50 pips.

The commodities are again showing a haphazard pattern, I am pretty firm with the policy of not getting into them till I get a firm signal.

So hoping on hitting the take profits on both the open orders as of now.

Happy Trading !!!

Trading Signals for Friday, August 10, 2012

Hi,

The market has confirmed the down trend that I expected it would take at the start of the week on Monday.
One of our long deals on EUR/USD that opened on Wednesday got closed at a loss; that is fine till our stop loss was firmly in place. Though another deal on the pair that opened yesterday at 1.2289 is still open.

Looking at the trend it seems to be ending again at the stop loss, those who do not have a sizable account can either close it right away, taking back a small loss or wait for it to get better or even consider it to reach the stop loss that I suggested yesterday at 1.2249 levels. Anyway the choice is entirely up to you and your trading style, and of course the margin in your account.

Since, I enjoy taking a break from currency trading from Fridays to Monday, so I do not intend to open a new deal today. But still from the analytical point of view, these are the long term deals still active on my trading account:

1. EUR/USD : Short at 1.2451 with stop loss 1.2491 and take profit at 1.2331
2. EUR/USD : Short at 1.2411 with stop loss 1.2451 and take profit at 1.2291
3. EUR/USD : Long at 1.2209 with stop loss 1.2169 and take profit at 1.2329
3. EUR/USD : Long at 1.2109 with stop loss 1.2069 and take profit at 1.2229
5. XAU/USD : Long at 1596.6 with stop loss 1591.6 and take profit at 1611.6
6. XAU/USD : Long at 1586.6 with stop loss 1581.6 and take profit at 1601.6
7. XAG/USD : Long at 27.70 and 27.50 and take profit at 30.0 and a stop loss as per your margin capacity
